Refunds for Online Programs
- No refunds after the first class of any online program
Cancellation Policy
- If for any reason you cannot attend one of your classes, please provide us with 24 hours notice.
- The Spanish Institute Online reserves the rights to change instructors
- Rescheduling must be done directly through the administration and not with the teacher. If you wish to change your original schedule to another day and time please send write to info@simerida.com. You may also call 1-800-539-9710
Avoiding Conflicts of Interest
All Spanish Institute Online instructors must avoid any activity that creates an actual or potential conflict of interest, and avoid any situation that may even present the appearance of a conflict of interest with the Spanish Institute Online.
We advise you, that in order to safeguard our teacher's contract with the Spanish Institute Online, to please refrain from requesting their services outside of the Spanish Institute Online.
Privacy Policy
Information Sharing and Disclosure
The Spanish Institute does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
- We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with The Spanish Institute under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help The Spanish Institute communicate with you about offers from The Spanish Institute and our partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
- We have a parent's permission to share the information if the user is a child under age 13. Parents have the option of allowing The Spanish Institute to collect and use their child's information without consenting to The Spanish Institute sharing of this information with people and companies who may use this information for their own purposes;
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
- We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of The Spanish Institute's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
- We transfer information about you if The Spanish Institute is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, The Spanish Institute will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
